TOKYO, May 6, 2025 — Actor Tom Cruise made his 25th visit to Japan on Monday, attending the Japan premiere of his latest film, Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning, held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku. This marks his first appearance in Japan in three years, following the release of Top Gun: Maverick in 2022.

The premiere served as the first international stop on the film’s global promotional tour. Cruise was joined by co-stars Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Greg Tarzan Davis, and director Christopher McQuarrie.
