Legendary Japanese designer Junko Koshino returned to the Tokyo runways after more than a decade with her show being held at Omotesando Hills on the first day of Amazon Fashion Week. As the brand name suggests, Fukushima Pride, utilized various artisans from that area, which of course was devastated by the Great Japan Earthquake eight years ago. Craftsmanship was on full display showcasing elements such as basket weaving, washi (traditional Japanese paper), horse leather and silk. In addition, the show featured Kyūdō (Japanese archery) and ballet. To see more of the collection, go here: https://amazonfashionweektokyo.com/en/brands/detail/fukushima-pride-by-junko-koshino/
