In the men's draw, Norwegians Anders Mols and Christian Sorum, who are favorites to win Olympic gold in 202o, posted a 2-0 (21-17, 21-18) win in 38 minutes over fifteenth seeded qualifiers from Germany, Nils Ehlers and Lars Fluggen to win the $20000 first prize.
On the women's side, fourth seeded Brazilians Agatha Bednarczuk and Eduarda "Duda" Lisboa put together a 2-0 (21-19, 21-18) win in 42 minutes over the top-seeded Alix Klineman and April Ross from America to collect the gold.
