The D1 GP All Star Shoot-Out was held on March 23rd and 24th at a special Odaiba Area course in Tokyo, Japan. Monster Energy presented the event over the 2 days and featured the best of the best drifters in the D1 Grand Prix series. This included three females drivers: Miki Takagi, Sayaka Shimoda and Kisaragi Awano. Recently retired drifting legend Ken "Nomuken" Nomura also made an appearance. Musical and dance performances were provided by the Drift Angels and rock group The BONEZ. But the main attraction for drifting fans attending the event were two 2JZ A90 Supras. One was driven by Daigo Saito for Fat Five Racing while the other was Masato Kawabata's for Team Toyo Tires.
